I don't think I'm a synesthete, but like any other human trait, it's analogue. We are all somewhere on the spectrum, and I'm probably closer than most because sounds really do have coloring. Colors don't have sounds, so I'm not wired in both directions.

Ummmm, that is the very definition of being a synaesthete. It does not need to be bi-directional.

Besides, talking to some of us can be odd whether it sounds green or not.

There are many non-synaesthetes in my life who are odd to talk to. Makes for interesting conversation...
 
We were looking at sparkly basses earlier in the thread. I know a lot of folks might find the paint job on this G&L ASAT to be a bit over the top but I sort of like it. I would consider this but the pups/electronics seem very similar to my 2015 bird (except this has active/passive option).
