I work on carbs!!
Although my truck will have a 6.0 LS in it with efi. But carb on everything else.
Usually electronic ignition though.

I work on carbs too. Pizza crust, noodles, sugar, bread - it's what I do.

Well there’s good carbs and bad carbs. Holley double pumpers and stuff like that are good carbs. Anything under 650 CFM, excluding six-packs and tri-powers, are bad carbs. As far as I’m concerned.

Also, in the mid-80s the mid-70s muscle cars were cheap relatively and somewhat plentiful. Friend had a Roadrunner, brother's friend had a Roadrunner, another had a street-racin' '70 Trans-Am; another of my friend's had that '73 Mach 1 Mustang... An older friend had a Charger, my aunt had a Duster...


A '66 'Cuda... that would make a great birdcage for a matching '66 Thunderbird (ie Gibson, not Ford)... Hemi Under Glass...

With a Traynor Big Ben and Super Custom Special, too.

Not so fun or lets say disgusting is now you need to remove the entire fn' cab on a truck just to change a head gasket. 16 hours shop time and 4 guys to do it over at GM. Buddy bought a new Ford F150 and the gasket blew out 4 months later and when he found out what it took to fix he picked his truck up from Ford and drove it directly across the street to trade it in on a new Dodge.
