But it's a worthy target to aim for!
Im not even a fan and I was embarrased, gotta be the biggest blunder we have witnessed in sports to date. Sorry Seattle.

On a whim, I decided to measure the neck width on my two Thunderbirds. I knew that the necks were finished by hand and some variation is inevitable, and the two felt different. I used a tape measure just to get a rough idea, but the difference between the two made me question my tape measure reading skills, so I had to bust out the digital calipers. Turns out my tape measuring skills were right.
2008 White Gibson Thunderbird IV ~ 1-5/8" (actual measurement was 1.622")
2013 Black Gibson Thunderbird IV ~ 1-1/2" (actual measurement was 1.511")
Measured some others too...
Unknown year Epiphone EB-3 ~ 1-1/2" (actual measurement was 1.497")
2006 7ender Highway One Jazz ~ 1-1/2" (actual measurement was 1.514")
1962 Precision (neck is late 1961) ~ 1-3/4" (actual measurement was 1.720) very flat though
2015 EB Music Man StingRay ~ 1-3/4" (actual measurement was 1.722") Very surprised because it didn't feel as wide as the P-bass, just a lot thicker!
Do I have a preference? No, not really.

We can easily consume three pages of content going back and fourth about pedals (the kind that are connected to engines, not the silly things you use on stage) not to mention engines, trannys, rear ends, headers, intake manifolds, carbs, turbos, supercharges, tires, brakes, glass packs, cams, lifters, ignition coils, etc. Heck, we could even go on about windshield wipers but we choose not to bother the masses with our addiction problems.
Now how bout that FSO that is dedicated to SoCal Speed Shop! Gibby needs to do a nod to motor heads too! I demand equal time!
If there isn't 3 pedals, you're 1 pedal short.
I put turbo mufflers (similar to glass packs) on my truck when I switched to headers with true duals. Blew a hole on the driver side one within a week!
That truck is a blast to drive! Loud, obnoxious, and ugly.... IT'S MY TRUCK I CAN SAY IT!!

Try using the Thrush Welded mufflers
It wasn't a seam, it was the end wall.

Yeah turbo mufflers suck horse power. The Thrush is the brand, Welded the model. Similar to a flowmaster, half the cost
I don't know who it is on here that does the strap like that, but Allen Collins used to do it that way on his Explorer.

I put Res-O-Lites on a '76 Thunderbird and along with moving the strap button to the back of the neck heel it cured the neck dive completely. I mean I can take my hand off the neck and it won't move a millimeter. Perfect balance. This is important to me because of back problems. I would recommend them.
I had one identical to that, including the yellowing. It was a nice bass, sounded great.

I took my time... sorry. And I don't have a fancy camera, so just crappy mobile phone pics.
Here is that RD in all his maple glory. It is heavy, 12.2 lbs. But it hangs on the strap very nicely, no neck dive at all. Sounding like a Jazz Bass, but good
it has more balls and low mid pressure than a Jazz, and a bit rounder top end. Imo, it really needs high tension strings. I am normally not a fan of those, but this bass works better with them, no doubt.
I love 2/2 headstock, and this one is particularly nice. It looks so brutish, the tuners are huge!
