Bah... relax & be yerself! As you already know... the vast majority of our core members, are good folks worth "fighting for". I have complete faith in Queen Roni's ability to maintain law & order, and refuse to live in constant fear that exhaling may be offensive to those who can't breath. If that means I gotta go... so be it. Until then, I hope you enjoy my company as I enjoy yours.Im pretty certain Ive seen some worse stuff thrown around here about other instruments in the past, Im not sure why your taking the hit. Dont know what I might say that will get me in trouble now that the hammer has come down. I may have to stay away from here for awhile or only show up for serious content.......witch means I wont be around very much

Did you have the 7” or 12” but it melted or disintegrated in your hands? ;-)Round and Round I like.
I don't think it's quite as cut & dried as that. Some basses dive... some don't. My 'bird's a diver, but I still love it!
I struggle with the concept that some people can be so thin-skinned as to even let it bother them that someone else finds their choice of instrument, less than desirable. But then I struggle with a world gone mad in general, and ponder how it came to be, that I can attend a school sports day, and watch one child win a race, only to be told by a teacher that everyone who entered it was a winner and there are no losers. Boy, do these kids get one hell of a shock when they leave school now and find out the real world isn't quite as kind. LOL.

It's not really worth repeating. Yesterday, I made a couple remarks regarding my opinion of the Music Man Bongo bass that caused somewhat of an upheaval. It wasn't really a "joke", so much a an interjection of levity. Feel free to ignore it. Kick off yer shoes & sit a spell!

Zero truss issues on my Anniversary model. I wonder if the whole truss rumor comes from the same rumor mill that pushes neck dive as a TBird given.
My Anniversary model was setup right after I bought it and I haven't had issues since.
Actually I believe they are Highbeams under the coating.
I use Black Beauties on my 2001 and also installed a Hipshot. That bass just has something special about it that is different in such a nice way.
Speak your truth man! If your Bird dives, it dives. Changing your strap will help but if you are happy with the strap you use, carry on.

The forward lean gets dealt with by some by running the strap from the lower button across the front of the body instead of the back. It's just a thought about something to try. I don't remember who it was who puts the strap on like that, but I'm sure he or she will pipe up eventually.
If you bite on a new RD, I hope you will post a review. I'm really curious about what they sound like and if they have the same physical heft as the originals with Moog electronics in them.
