Why not the entire club thread, and then have a test including all the standard questions on how to remedy neck dive, proper adjustment of the 3-point bridge, alternatives to the 3-point and different pickups - And last but not least: Name all Club members and list their Thunderbirds... :)

Thank god I joined before this!! I’d rather run across the country wearing nothing but a Thunderbird, over reading the whole thread beginning to end AND memorize all that. Probably take less time too! Keeping up with the club can be hard enough.
But I like the sounds of this initiation. :thumbsup:

Not if I sell the Corona.

The number will remain the same = 4 (obviously not counting the MXR Microamp in the cupboard -- everyone needs one stashed away somewhere, just in case it is necessary to make a guitar amp cry more).

I’m not trying to be an enabler, but a nice Wah is fun!

Seriously, cannot envisage a situation where I would ever need a wah. There are two songs on my very short list of other people's songs I would play in public which would benefit from some subtle modulation.

Even if there’s still only 4, that doesn’t mean the search is over. You may not become a huge pedal person, but it can still lead to a rabbit hole. And unlike rabbits, you only need one pedal for the possibility for them to multiply :D:roflmao:

You caught me on that.
You may not think there’s a lot of situations where you’d need a Wah, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make situations where you could use a Wah. As for the subtlety of the Wah… well that depends on a few things, mainly the Wah itself, and your EQ.
