Cool story for y'all.
About a year or so I bought a dead SVT Cl of a guy to use as a stage prop. For our video I had 1 real heritage and 3 dummy's on 4 cabs. I bought it for $150 and took out the guts. The tech said he messed with it for a long time and could not get it to work.

I sold my svt to get my GK 2001 and haven't used the dummy head. So, about a month ago a was looking at it and thought, "I wonder". I found all the parts and reassembled the head. I took it to our local guru Dean Zink. I wasn't too hopeful.

Got a call today, (been 3 weeks) and he said it's working perfectly, good to go! Hauled ass over and picked it up! Works perfect!!!

So, completely dead amp...1 bad zeaner diod, $2. $130 for the 3 days it took to figure out and it needed all new tubes.

I'm definitely into the look. IDC how impractical it is, I love the look of big amps and lots of em. I do use 2 real 810s or 810/215 live.

Yup! Nothing bothers me more than seeing a band with nothing on stage. I like to look at all the cool amps and stuff up there just like I did when I was 14. Now I have my own stuff, a trailer and road crew! I do however load my own trailer and often load up after a show. The crew is more for set up/tear down.

Takes us 2-3 hrs to set up before sound check. Alot is lights, fx, props ect. Our rigs go up pretty quick and I'm my own tech most of the time cept maybe bass changing. I usually use 3 sometime 4 per show.

I took my time... sorry. And I don't have a fancy camera, so just crappy mobile phone pics.

Here is that RD in all his maple glory. It is heavy, 12.2 lbs. But it hangs on the strap very nicely, no neck dive at all. Sounding like a Jazz Bass, but good it has more balls and low mid pressure than a Jazz, and a bit rounder top end. Imo, it really needs high tension strings. I am normally not a fan of those, but this bass works better with them, no doubt.

I love 2/2 headstock, and this one is particularly nice. It looks so brutish, the tuners are huge!

What!?!? No, Panamera?!?! I love it's unconventional design. <---Not joking.

Yep, a Panamera and a Macan and I'd have the entire set.
I backed off on the Panamera last year because they were due for a ground up redesign in 2018. I'm glad I did, the new one looks fantastic, even the shooting brake variant (wagon for you Americans) looks great. I really liked the Macan GTS but I'm just not sure what it's real mission is; too small to use as an SUV too large to be a sports car. It's a tweener, the "taint" of the Porsche line up, it does haul ass though!

Well I found a potential +1, an Epiphone NR Thunderbird at a good price. But it is up on the Northern Rivers area of NSW. About 800 kms away.
It is ‘sky blue’ according to the seller, but looks greenish to colour blind me. I’m sure the colour has a real name.

I’ve sent a message so we will see.

I had front row to their show in my town last year in a 2000 capacity venue, the sound was crystal clean and their performance was top notch. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Billy uses some sweet guitars, this was my fave.

Dude what a coincidence you would say that. Literally for 2 days I have been thinking of asking my band to cover Careful with that axe Eugene but Im not sure they will buy into it. Were not a cover band but if we could only do one I would like to try this tune but give it our Doom flavoring.
