Just got off the phone with MF. No price match on the Epi TBird cases since they are not identical items. The AMS case has the letter E, the MF case has Epiphone spelled out. No biggie.

Ha ha, that's cool man. I'm good. My price was $13 more then they gave back $5 so I paid $8 more than AMS. I can live with that for Epiphone being written on my case.
I kind of felt silly calling for the $13, I can't bring myself to call for $8.![]()
May I ask if someone plays a TBird through the MB Fusion heads? I would like to hear some thumbs up or notes of caution about the combination of the two.
It sounds nice with the RB series so I'm hoping to get that with a bit more valve crisp to it. Example with an RB:Had to look up what that was. A GK? Sorry man, can't help you. I've only played it through an SVT and PF-350. Oh, and a Traynor Dynabass 800.

I came up in the 80's, so my tone is just a little bit of tubey overdrive and some clean boost accentuated in the mids to punch through the guitar and drums. I just picked up the EHX Bass Soul Food to have a dirtier tone to punch and out with and I think it's gonna work well; we have a few songs, especially the two that were written in the past three or four weeks, that have places that'll work really well and make Beavis and Butthead AS WELL AS Keanu go "whoa!"Nasty drop-tuned stuff...
Sure hope you have retained that nasty distorted sound.![]()
