Thunderbird Club

Hey, all. I've been playing for the past couple of months with a guitarist and having fun. We really need a drummer. But he keeps on telling me how beautiful my T-Bird is, so he's a keeper.

Also been using the Gator ProGo bass bag and it's been great for the Thunderbird. I'm not thrilled with some of the design choices, but can't complain since it's a great soft case that fits.
Can you post a pic of how the Thunderbird fits in the Gator ProGo? I'm looking for a gig bag instead of a case. Thanks!!

I just ordered one of those this morning! I had two needs: 1.) Just needed an additional, better quality bag that would also hold my MB500, and 2.) Needed to be able to close around my Tbird Classic.

No wonder you never connected with it: it still has the ugly plastic covering the pickups and pickguard and a bunch of stickers on the back of the headstock :D

I'm sure whatever the decision: someone will be very happy

I just learned a new term to describe my TV Silver if I choose to sell it.

NOS, these are 2013's.

...or do you need to be a dealer to use that one?

Oh yeah, had my first ever bass lesson today lol. Instructor was cool, 30 year player and teaches bass at the University by me so I think he'll definitely be able to help my theory chops.

Also, brought the classic to the lesson, and the instructor went absolutely nuts for it. Let him play it and I almost couldnt get it back. Went on and on about how great the neck was and how great it sounded.
If that doesn't speak for how great these are, I don't know what does.
