Yep, f'rinstance to buy an original instead of a 'reissue'.;) Unfortunately as the value of my '77 rises so do the prices for '65s.
 
I wonder why they put the Jack on the side instead of the front on the Vintage Pro?
Good question. Most people don't care. Side jacks do prevent cracked tops that are a sometime problem. I always use an angle jack to help prevent that. Reverse wings are pretty thin above the control cavity.
