In regards of the headstock: i had thought years ago, before painting the inside portion of the headstock, of doing red binding with black interior. But since the tuners were black, my then girlfriend had suggested that i should paint the inside red and leave black exterior so they could stand out against the headstock. Although Hillerup's suggestion is good, i would've probably done it if i had chrome tuners and if the body was red or something
It's all coming together nicely, i'll apply a second coat of red today, and then monday is the whole start of the finish process.
You could always just put 4 chrome washers instead of the black ones on the face of the headstock - That would make the black tuner posts "pop" against the black face...
I'm in canada but as much as that bird looks cool, i have no funds, (& im too busy with my room is too small to handle anything more than it has now)

True, but i'm that: only one or the other type person when it comes to instruments. if it's black chrome, its all that, chrome all the way. Never gold, not too keen on gold, nor nickel really, except i'll compromise on it if it's all nickel it won't look to messed up.

It's the one color I don't have, which is on my wish list...

I've got the funds and the wife's blessing but I'm being realistic with myself... I've got 5 already and I already have one sitting in its case stuffed in a closet.
I have the cash but my wife is paying a bit more attention to my bass collection at the mo, if it comes back around cheaper I may jump on it
