I spent the early morning running an airbrush loaded with Du Pont 3602 lacquer and TCP onto a boxcar model - First thing in the AM, it's kinda like napalm.
It's all downhill now that I'm at work.

I love the smell of lacquer in the morning .

There is also a young silent partner involved as well. He knows more then he lets on. And he is a very trusted associate.

Anyone else notice how many booze, hangover and general drinking references were posted before lunchtime today? This group is like one big cry for help!

It’s way after lunchtime here, which is good as i’ve Just checked the Andertons site, and the expected due date on my Vintage Pro has moved from 15 Feb 2018 back to “unknown”. Whisky time here!
I wonder if I will ever actually get this bass. At least I will have paid it off my credit card by the time it finally turns up!

Weather is decent today, so I’ve been outside sanding recently glued up cabs. Shop is too small to do that inside...I should look into a dust collection system.

Gig canceled tonight so apparently my big decision is Asian style lettuce wraps made by the girl, or go out for Indian food. She’s been working pretty hard, so maybe going out would be nice for her. If I can get all the sawdust off of me by dinner time

I am here to help. Check out Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's book 'Three Good Things'. Also pasta sauces from the Lazio region are good and simple, usually no more than three ingredients (and no, Carbonara sauce doesn't have cream in it). Master these and lasses, or lads, will appreciate it.

It's not so much that I can't cook, I just never put much effort into learning. I can get by, but it won't be impressing any lasses

I think the sauce I would use most in my life would be my grandmother's recipe. From the toe region of Italy.

In my 40s I decided to teach myself to drink Scotch. I hadn’t been able to get a glass of scotch near my face since getting blind on the way to a school disco (Ashfield Pub -> Ashfield Town Hall) way back when. Now I love a Scotch on Rocks.

My big hangovers are 30 plus years in the past. Moderation at my 58 years goes far.

Well I’ve woken up with hangover symptoms without having a single alcoholic drink yesterday. That sucks.
(It’s a weather change thing)

Same here, few days ago. Only thing worse than a hangover, is a hangover with no reasoning
