Thunderbird Club

My drinking days are behind me.

Cooking is easy. If you can do music you can cook. The trick is not to over commit or over complicate and be prepared.
Probably wise. Hangovers are worth avoiding. I'm now a pretty cheap date - I feel a couple beers and have to cool it. I feel even that the next morning.

Cooking is a blast. I'll start marinading a pork roast on Wednesday to cook on Sunday.

So that's why I can't cook :roflmao:
No, the reason is you're male, Italian (at least on one side) and live at home. Hopefully you'll never have to learn because more than likely your sauce will never be as good as your grandmother's.

Just one for me please, I'm driving.

That just means you haven't drank enough Scotch to develop the taste :roflmao:

Blue definitely isn't my first choice for Canadian beers, but it is also far from the last. Sleeman's or Moosehead would be first. Pilsner, pale lager, close enough for me
Haven't been able to find Moosehead in years! It's not like Maine isn't 15 minutes away! Now it's all this pumpkin flavored crap. Blue wasn't my favorite but it is now that beer has gone hipster.

All good points!

Living off campus was rough at times. But a pizza could last a couple days :D and the delivery guy was late once every few weeks which helped the wallet too.

Haven't gigged in weeks, finally about to walk in and open the activities with a beer at the bar. Haven't been here before, haven't had a beer in quite a few weeks either. Gotta go qualify for my part in this "cry for help" I've been reading about...
Glad to have a few gigs coming up, been living lean with just the day job. Sold my EB-3 today, also my Acoustic 136 combo. Kinda sad about that one, I'd finally got it fixed up proper, christened it "The Wagon", cause it's like an old car. Cool amp, but bread makes the world less of a hassle to live in. Got something to play through at least. Life is good, looking forward to a decent year I hope.
@PillO , hope you get your healing done, bro.
Off for that brew now... Peace all!

Dude! you would make an amazing detective. The detective they call "The Fixer"! Your partner would be @JJR58 and you guys would solve mysteries and Jeff would be workin' it in that Chechnyan mobster attire. So Fn' awesome!.
Yeah... I don't know how profitable that little venture would be. For one thing... I'm FAR too trusting! The suspect would be all, "It wasn't me man. Wanna beer?", & I'd be all, "Jeez... people must have you all wrong bro. You seem cool to me. What're we drinkin'?". For another... Jeff would be making arrangements to have all the clients pay us in Scotch. That all adds up to a doomed (albeit entertaining) endeavor. I can just feel it...

It’s way after lunchtime here, which is good as i’ve Just checked the Andertons site, and the expected due date on my Vintage Pro has moved from 15 Feb 2028 back to “unknown”. Whisky time here!
I wonder if I will ever actually get this bass. At least I will have paid it off my credit card by the time it finally turns up!
"Everywhere around the world... we'll ship it from Americaaaah"
