Thunderbird Club

Our mascot will be a lame 1970's style blow up doll wearing a gas mask standing in the back seat. Our horn will sound like Roy Estrada's maniacal laughter, we will use it most often of course.

You got this one down bro!!! First song to play while riding up to hole #1 will be, Why don't you do me right. That'll clear the rest of the course.

Hehe, that’s really funny beacause I was not planning to buy another bass, especially not Thunderbird, but I remember someone here wrote that you don’t choose ‘Bird but it chooses you, that’totaly true. It was impulsive buying but it was worth it :D

Thunderbird have that quality like string to string volume and tone is so consistent like in no other bass I ever play, love that inherited natural compression and of course dark huge low mid growl.
Yeah, they seem to choose the player. I didn't really want a TBird back in the day; it was the heyday of the Warlock, Ironbird, and Destroyer then. Thunderbirds seemed less radical then. Fast forward 15+ years, and now I have two of them. I play every TBird I haven't played before every time I go to a guitar store, including a Lull (God has blessed that man) and an unknown 7enderbird custom jobbie. One day I hope for a Dingwall to be seen (It's almost a shame that the TBird wasn' named after a bat now that Sheldon has put his take on it). Yup, like the rest of us, I got the fevah...and the only prescription...is more Thunderbird.

If either of us pounds a nice long drive into the sky we will honor the event with this. Should probably clear the wilderness out of the bushes.

Don't get deer in my backyard too often, the dogs at the shop next-door probably scare them off. But last year I saw a group (rafter[?]) of 5 turkeys by my pond which was pretty cool. But not as cool as a deer coming up to my window!
Way too many of them. Car-deer collisions all the time. I have to fence in all the gardens and plants in the summer. A bit surprising when you open the blinds and they're pressing their noses against the window. Do you have problems with geese in your pond? We lived at a place with one and you couldn't even walk in the back yard. We do enjoy all the wildlife though.

Only had geese for a short period, but they were very territorial, my dog wasn't too happy.
No coyotes which is nice, dogs next-door keep them away.

All I ever get to see is a cat trying to destroy my furniture

Maybe a declawing?.

A declawing would be too kind for this jerk. We’ve talked about it, but if you look into it, it’s a pretty cruel thing to do to an animal by most accounts. It’s not just removing the claws. It’s basically like chopping off the finger down to the first knuckle. As much as the thought of his suffering fills my heart with joy, the girl...

I’ve nearly pulled the trigger on every single one of those...maybe once I get over whatever my hang up is about dirt boxes lately! I will keep my Reiner Gasoline OD. The clean blend helps keep things nice and thumpy, which is my main issue with dirt boxes. Can’t stand when the punch disappears.

The 'grunt' and 'attack' switches make all the difference on the DG Ultras. Cutting the saturation on top and bottom ensures you keep clarity, punch and note definition, with OD mainly affecting the mids. You just need to decide whether you prrefer the Vintage flavour or the B7K flavour. The AΩ seems excellent, but doesn't have quite as much control over saturation and eq points.

For like a week or two of his life, Hank was actually kind of ‘adorable.’
