Thunderbird Club

I can just see it, "Wide World of Sports presents" - "Golfing with the Stars of Thunderbird Club". Although we may be a circus sideshow it would be of great entertainment for the tv viewing audience. 65% of all money raised would go towards saving Gibson and the remaining 35% would go to club members to support their quest for chrome dressings and pickup/bridge upgrades. I would golf with you for that.:)

Do I get to wear a nice, short skirt?

Always fun to bend over :laugh:

Ok, no abusing cats. That's all I'm gonna say
kinda my point broseph;)

Declawing is horribly cruel! I can't think of a better way to demonstrate that, than by performing a similar procedure on the person suggesting it. Damndest thing though... folks always seem opposed to the idea! Weird, right?

@ProgressiveDoom I'm just busting' yer chops man:D

This is something I feel strongly about... but I ain't here to change nobody. I want you to be who you are, and do what you do. I think yer friggin' awesome:thumbsup: ... but I wouldn't mind a bit, if you kicked my perspective around a little;)

Totaly cool bro, I never considered the humane aspect. I thought it was a simple procedure . I thought that was common practice since it is offered by veterinarians clinics.

Oh I dunno, maybe if I don't like something your kids do I could amputate the top joints on all their fingers...

AFAIK that is actually illegal in this country. You can always clip their nails though, that slows them down without actually harming them.
Damn you are vicious, Ive known people that have had this done to their cats, I never asked questions. Thought it was normal veterinary practice.

@dukeorock, you need a set of sharp nailclippers and a couple of these -- one for scratching and one for sitting.

We had considered declawing, then did a little reading. Don’t think we have it in us to do that, even to Hank

Hey... what's that you're wrapped around there?

Oh... it's kitty's little finger:smug:

You are a horrible person

I used to think the same thing... but after having one cat declawed YEARS ago (which I still feel bad about), and learning what's involved, and seeing the affect it had on Simon (a 25 pound orange & white tomcat that loved grooming my sideburns)... I decided there & then that it was wrong to try to mutilate mother nature for my convenience, and that I would never do it again! IMHO... we need to accept a pet as it is, and be able to provide it with a home in which it can be who and what it is, or, for the sake of the pet, not bring it home with us at all. What do you suppose the reactions would be if you went into a child adoption agency & said, "Hey! THAT one's cute! If you'll chop his fingers off... we'll take him."?
