Thunderbird Club

I’m starting the New Year well. On the 1st my wife and I will be at the Opera House for ‘All you need is Love’. 30 songs over 2 hours with an intermission. Should be interesting.

All You Need is Love features the vocal brilliance of Jack Jones, Ciaran Gribbin, Rai Thistlethwayte and Jackson Thomasaccompanied by the Strawberry Fields Orchestra.

The songs are carefully chosen from the Beatles canon for their instrumentation and arrangements involving a full Orchestra seamlessly integrated with the Beatles own rock sensibility. From the intimacy of Yesterday to the exuberance of Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, the childlike whimsy of Yellow Submarine to the intoxicating romance of Something.

Then I’m back on the 5th with a mate for the Led Zep Masters.

Direct from a critically acclaimed concert tour of the UK, which included the London Palladium, Stairway To Heaven: Led Zeppelin Masters returns to the Sydney Opera House in 2018 to commemorate Led Zeppelin’s 50th anniversary.

Fronted by ZEP BOYS powerhouse vocalist Vince Contarino and bolstered by the breathtaking might of the thirty-pieceBlack Dog Orchestra, Led Zeppelin Masters features twenty Led Zeppelin classics.

So - Strawberry Fields Orchestra followed by the Black Dog Orchestra.

Just saw this on FB. Glenn Hughes on an NR previously owned by The Ox himself. Or so the post tells me.

So, last night I had a 4 hour slap upright gig and another 4 hour slap upright gig tonight. Not sure how it happened, but on my slap hand I got 6 big blisters and 3 of em assploded about 2/3 into the gig. Brutally painful. I still have 3 more days in a row of 4 hour slap upright gigs. Gonna be a tough week :)

You might wanna slap something softer, like concrete or steel bars.

Seriously, though, that sounds painful. Hope it gets better soon.:)

And stop slapping that upright, it never did a thing to you till you started slapping it! It's clearly acting in self defense.:roflmao:

:(Not getting them either. :bawl:
I wonder if the on-going post frenzy in this club and the Spector club have finally crashed the system.:dead:
It's gotta be that, or possibly the website software also :sour: :bored::rollno::***::vomit::rage::mad:hates Kiss.

And here i thought it was another conspiracy. Now check your content, and see if your latest activity here shows up.

:)Yep my content and activity history is showing just fine.

:wideyed:But for some reason when I check you're activity history it lists some really odd threads here on Talkbass. You know, things like "do these knobs look nice" and "Thought I'd try a little new key with my FSO tonight" and "how to break in a tight G string" and, well you get the picture.

Ummm, just kidding.
