I remember in the car world that if you saw any electrical system part with the name "Lucas" on it, RUN.John Lucas, the Prince of Darkness.
He's well known for being an opinionated jackass, so at least he's consistent. I've always thought Slayer sucked, but I'll give 'em credit for doing what they do and sticking to it their whole career. That's pretty gutsy not to evolve or change direction for 30 years.Exactly! I came to this realization back in the early 80's while reading an interview with Kerry King (Slayer) where he railed against the lesser heavy bands at the time, throwing the "poser" tag around a lot and then I looked at the photo they had to go along with the interview of him making a growling face and fist at the camera with his wrist-to-elbow armband loaded with nails and it hit me that he was just as much a "poser" as those he was trying to insult, only difference was choice of accouterments.
True that. I had a '68 Triumph Spitfire. Lucas electronics were it's Achilles heel.Bingo...here's another: Why do the Brits drink warm beer? Lucas refrigerators.
