Have you ventured into those pedal breeders threads here?Mick Ronson used a cocked wah, a tonebender and an echoplex. You can get that in two pedals. Add a clean boost and an 'oil can' delay, that's four. That's the gu*tard I want right there. Now if I could just get this replicator built...
Red... I'm THRILLED for you man!!! Lookin' forward to seeing your picsOk, well I just agreed a delivered price on the 2011 Gibson Thunderbird I mentioned earlier.
5 days shy of 7 months early for a 50th Birthday Bass. That’s gonna be close enough.
Hoping it will arrive for my birthday next week.
Happy Birthday Larry!!!![]()
Happy Birthday @Larry V !
Happy Birthday Larry!
@Larry V Happy birthday!
Found a loop hole for not wanting a wah, I see.Mick Ronson used a cocked wah, a tonebender and an echoplex. You can get that in two pedals. Add a clean boost and an 'oil can' delay, that's four. That's the gu*tard I want right there. Now if I could just get this replicator built...
Speaking of which, I started getting alerts for threads I haven't checked in months!Have you ventured into those pedal breeders threads here?

It's okay to admit that you want more pedals, you're not going to hurt anyone's feelings here... you might hurt a couple peoples feelings, but such is life.
Kinda kooky Lar! You were born 364 days before me! Thanks for clearin' the pathThank you, all! I’ve reached that critical age of 49 and holding!
So, that means hats and shorts were added. The picture was far more interesting without your edits, no doubt.
note: items in red added by me for clarification.
Touchè mon amie....
Oh I want pedals alright, but for guitarists. I have the perfect guitar tone in my head.
I was considering getting rid of the compressor as well. I don't use it at all with the upright, and I'm using it less and less with the 'Bird. I keep it turned so far down that it hardly does anything, so why bother? I like the way the 'Bird sounds just by itself better. Seems like a no-brainer.Been contemplating selling my comp, but it's such a good (and expensive) comp and it's good to have, just in case, and I know I'd regret selling it. That and the flanger makes two.
Over in guitar world, the gig I'm going to at the end of the month, Steve Cradock has two massively populated boards. Paul Weller has two pedals, an OD and a Space Echo simulator.
Congratulations! One more year and you reach a really great number.Thank you, all! I’ve reached that critical age of 49 and holding!
Actually, all you really need is a good, working Rotating Wah. It's oil can, wah, and volume pedal, all in one giant, shiny chrome box that's bigger than most pedalboards. No need for a wah, no need for an echoplex. Clean boost is kinda dealt with using the volume pedal. Plus CHROME!Mick Ronson used a cocked wah, a tonebender and an echoplex.
