Yes I am. I've done original stuff and covers but I really dig this kinda thing, people like it and its fun to try to recreate something.Really dressing for a show adds something - Helps if it's genuine.....I can tell you're having a great time!
Saw that one...thought of you guysanybody in the mood for an inexpensive burst classic Epiphone Thunderbird Bass Guitar | eBay
The 5's don't seem to show up very often in my experience. That seems very cheap for one.
More than once I've considered replacing the neck on one of my 4 stringers to convert it to an 8 string. A cheap 5 might be a good option to consider for a similar project.
Welcome, looks like your off to a good start. I also am a beginner so much of what you said "...paper in oil..." Went straight over my head.Link Removed
Hey guys, just thought I would pop up and introduce myself as an owner of a Epiphone Thunderbird Gothic.... Lovely bass (though I am just a beginner, coming from a badly played guitar background!). This is my current setup, and all I have done is modded the cap to a 0.1uf Rusian Paper in Oil cap for a dirty deep sound (a lover of heavy blues, doom, sludge and most things rock/metal related).... more work to come, as I am a modifier of bikes, tattoo machine builder and a maintenance engineer... i have asked a question here, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
