Plus it's nice to have a spare kidney laying around when you need it. That's why we have two of everything we really need. Just one brain. What does that tell you?
Not to trade your brain for an aged white T Bird?

Bad time to be tapped...sure is purty

Pretty but I am curious about the visible serial number on the back of the headstock. None of my Gibson serial numbers can be seen because they are stamped in the wood. Just makes my Spidey sense tingle.

I was looking at the same thing. Along with the cutout seems a bit deeper like the Epiphones. And you can't clearly see the truss rod cover.

I’m with you there...something seems a tad off there. It’s local, so if I were serious about it (I’m not) I’d be able to scope it out. Don’t matter, got my heart set on a Cataldo NR right now anyway :)

Howdy neighbor!

Yeah... so what is it with Michigan and Thunderbirds? Are we like Australia up here or something? Did the our distributor lose his deal with Epiphone basses or sup'm? About the only thing "Epi" that I can find on my side of the state is guitars & 10 year old bolt-on sunburst 'birds.
Where the hell do you live?

Just to make sure this dude ain’t trying to scam anyone I wrote and asked about the year, serial number and the fact that I can’t see the logo on the truss rod cover

Yes. I think the cap I put into the P-Bird is .022 or so, but that's not that big a deal. It should just roll off less (Carlo or Kat or somebody else who actually knows can correct me if that's wrong.)
Fender has used .047 forever on Ps.

PG is too thick.
