Malted vinegar?Nah, vinegar on hot chips is devine
It's a switch lever. On the Vox you can only select one pickup at a time. On the clone I used a blend pot.Is that what the sign out front says... "Cataldo Custom Basses... Well connected since 1972"
That front knob, on the Phantom, that appears to have some sort of lever attached... what is it's function?
I found a can of mushy peas in the supermarket one day a while back. I thought that was hilarious. My wife was less amused. She has been Americanized to the point that she prefers her food prepared in a manner that doesn't resemble being pre-digested.
Ooooh, Heritage Cherry. @dukeorock Offer $1!There is another Bird in Nashville. A *bit* overpriced but she is a pretty one.

Harry’s Cafe de Wheels... Tiger Pie.
Meat pie with mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy on top. Wow.
I used to be horrified by mushy peas until I was introduced to a Tiger Pie.
Do it. You know you want too.
Public Service Announcement
So I started school, full time, today. Most days finish by 1pm which is nice. But my time here will be limited compared to the past few months. From today alone, I can't imagine the pain of @Haji, @PillO, and everyone else that goes a couple days!
End of Public Service Announcement
Public Service Announcement #2
So I sent a couple emails to Guitar Center Customer Service and Store Feedback about that '1976 Thunderbird Korina'. I exchanged a few emails with each department.
Today I received a phone call from a NYC area code, but didn't answer because it was long distance and an unknown caller. I just finished listening to the voicemail..... it was the manager at the store with that bass, saying that (Paraphrasing) "You are absolutely correct about that, and we are going to change it. Thank you for bringing it to our attention"
They actually admitted that they were wrong, and they are going to change it!!
End of PSA #2
About 10 days to two weeks away from getting my Cataldo. This is very good news to me![]()
Wait what!?! Is this just now being announced or did I miss your Cataldo posts way back when? Either way, congrats and whatcha gettin’?
Oh I'm not worried about y'all!Don’t worry about us, Vince. We’ll be here wasting time whenever you have time to check in. Just worry about your studies and rock that shiznet!
Great work!

Those pix are five years old, it's aged a bit...haven't we all?
Changing the GC world, one bass at a time!Oh I'm not worried about y'all!
I plan to rock it like a hurricane!!
I'm surprised that the manager made a long distance, international phone call, to admit they made a mistake! And they are serious, cause it is no longer listed

That "Evil Lawyer" is a great dude (I assume you are just joking about him being evil) and is indeed a lawyer. He has sent me tracings of Gibson bodies, truss rod tools, strings, and several other things and never asked for anything in return. I think he pays for most of the cost to run the Last Bass Outpost as well. But.....if he has that last 79 Bird it may be extremely difficult to pry it from his hands.
anchovy paste.Noooo! brown sauce or vinegar!
Doesn’t it seem like that pickguard was made to wrap around a bridge pickup? Those pix are five years old, it's aged a bit...haven't we all?
