Who puts mayonnaise on chips anyway? When I was young it was tomato sauce, vinegar or black (Worcester) sauce. Then we discovered the delights of HP sauce, although to be authentically Edinburghian, the correct brown sauce is Daddies and it should be mixed with vinegar.
My friend Ruth (the gal I told you about from Warkworth) always preached the word of "Watty's Tomahto Soos". She missed it horribly here in the states...

Those are what I could find. It's a done deal. Besides, it's a 7enderbird. It can have 7enderish parts on it. It's got a 7ender neck, and a 7ender pickup. It's a plain ol' slab of ash, too.
They work well on Phantom Clones, too...

Mmmm, the Belgians put mayonnaise on their fries, very yummy, but basically a heart attack waiting to happen. Mmmmmmm. :)

They look right at home on there!
Thanks! Slightly larger than the aluminum originals but those are impossible to find at a reasonable price. Most VOX parts seem to be getting that way. The original bridge cover was a steal @ $100 about 8 years ago. ThunderBucker made the one for the clone.

I reckon your Thunderbucker connection has proven invaluable quite a few times over the years:cool::thumbsup:

Can't remember if I already mentioned this on here, but since we were talking about knobs so much today I wanted to show these. Not necessarily Tbird style (maybe for the Pro?) but great knobs that come in tons of cool colors. I had a set on a Talman that I sold recently and am putting a set on my Ibanez SRX2EX1. From Xentric on eBay and they have their own site too.

Oh those French......................

When you look at the family portrait of six ebony 1979 'Birds, only one is missing both covers, and only one more is missing the pickup cover. Those covers got pulled off and lost all the time. I expect the seventh will turn up in time, and will be as intact and unmodified as the other six. There's some strange karma going on with those six, so the seventh probably has that same strange karma protecting it from hacks, tort, and all that.
