It looks to me that the advantage of the Vintage Ultra is that the OD circuit can be blended in. I don't know if it is reasonable to switch back and forth, or if it is like the TH and has volume matching problems.

The advantage of the TH is that it is paid for.

I mail-ordered my first pedal, a TC Polytune, from a shop which is about an hour from me ... a 30 minute train ride give or take and a 15 minute walk plus waiting around time.

The pedal took a full 7 days to arrive. Once upon a time if would have been there next day or the day after, max. It appears this is a deliberate policy to discourage people using AusPost and to get them using couriers instead.

I learned my lesson. When I bought my first Epi Bird case, I took the train up and collected it myself.

Yes. It was a little battered looking, so I got it for a relative song. It works well for what I do, and I don't do dirt much, if at all. But, curiosity always kills this cat. Good thing for extra lives.

Just checked the manual for the AΩ and level does exactly the same as on Vince and my pedals.

I remember sayin', "WHAT??? 2 bux a pack?!?!? That's OUTRAGEOUS!!! That's it... I'm quitting!". Of course nobody I knew at the time actually quit (had to wait until they got up to 5 bux a pack before I actually saw anybody quit because of price... but we were plenty miffed I tell ya! Plenty!
