AKA instant hangover. Just the thought of Miller makes my head feel like mush. I don't like any fizzy yellow beer, it's not just Miller.
Fizzy yellow beer is too sweet. Any time you mix sugar and alcohol, it's got bad consequences. Except for really good rum. Somehow, that manages to dodge body chemistry in just the right way to prevent feeling really bad really fast.

Sorry, but I can't think of any local beer I find drinkable. For ever I used to drink Steinlager (and I still buy Mainland cheese -- keeping the old end up). I like Czech and German lagers and pilsners with an infrequent Weissbier. There were a lot of adverts for cider in Britain, which got me wondering what 'pear cider' ie perry was actually like, and from there on in cider was my drink until I knocked it on the head.
Did not know that... might have to try it despite what Fix has to say about its taste. Most things Molson tastes pretty good to me... just not better than Labatt.
I will be having a Prairie Pirate Bomb myself!

Just goofin anyway...don’t drink much beer these days. Red wine at night sometimes. At gigs, if I drink at all, it’s tequila. Ole’!

I think the best you'll get is "on par with"...
I’ve had some post bike ride pints for $6 a piece that made me wish I had a $2 Miller High Life instead.

I have looked for Speights and there is none to be had. When I was in NZ last year I was drinking Emersons pilsner -- because it's from Dunedin.
I’ve had Emerson’s. It’s good. I met up with a couple of Kiwi diving friends in Bali and one of them brought that and an Epic Hop Zombie for me.
Epic Big Bad Baptist is one of my favorites!
