Weird sh!t I can't explain.
The Orville is not only lighter than an Epi TBird PRO IV, it also seems more compact, despite being 2cm longer. Both measure 34" scale length, but the Orville neck seems somehow shorter.

Actually, I'm always surprised at how heavy the Pro IV is. Even now, with Alumitones, no battery, and no preamp. It's just heavy. The P-Bird is a bit on the heavy side. The Gibsons are all featherweights by comparison.

There is a building/landscaping site directly across from us, with jack-hammering, rock-cutting and all sorts of horrible noise going on through the day.
I was working from home last week, sitting in the music/spare/shoe room working on the computer and our slightly older cat curled up on my back pack next to me in the corner. The noise was pretty bad, but I was concentrating on something and blocking it out. Obviously it was really annoying the cat, because he got up and walked over to the door, which was open a full 90°, and pushed it shut. He then went back to his spot and crashed out.
