I'd watch that buddy cop show.

Is that like Starsky and Hutch?
In my little mind, i see them more as Holmes and Watson.
Did you mean " Holmes & Yo-Yo?"
The only thing I DON'T agree with, is that you wasted time telling us about it BEFORE making it yours! Catch that 'bird before it flys away!!!![]()

Edit with some observations: I'm going to need to figure out how to make a normal three- or four-knob configuration out of the hacked up controls. I was going to go with either VVTT or VVT, but I'm going to need to get busy with the filler and so on to clean it up. I was also slightly startled to see the Epiphone logo re-emerge so relatively intact. I had assumed the headstock logo would be a write-off, but maybe not. The nice thing is the wood grain is starting to look less tormented.
Okay, here's something I want to talk about on this forum... Thunderbird neck profiles. Are there different versions? Mine is quite skinny, like a Jazz bass. I'm asking because I've only owned 2 and they were 4 years apart (2008 and 2012) and they had roughly the same neck profile. Is that part of it? I know P-basses have different neck profiles in different years and on different models.
I'd like to know!
Most that I've played are similar to Jazz necks. But my 2008 is nowhere near the neck of any 7ender I have played. It's 1-5/8" wide at the nut, and fairly chunky. Most comfortable neck I've played. But haven't found another one like it.Okay, here's something I want to talk about on this forum... Thunderbird neck profiles. Are there different versions? Mine is quite skinny, like a Jazz bass. No, but I like that!
My Traynor yba 200-2 should be out of the shop. One tiny mod Jonathan suggested that we’re trying. Other than that, the tech said the amp is in great shape. Just had a wonky ribbon cable (you know, those things that don’t belong in amps in the first place!) and the tubes were biased way too hot. Hopefully, it’ll be a noticeable improvement

Geoff, Gibsons are hand finished so from bass to bass there is some variation, neck profile is also different from '76-'79 than Post '88, the latter being a bit smaller and slightly more rounded, '76s a little flatter in cross section.
Answered at the same time too..... coincidence...? To find out...Most that I've played are similar to Jazz necks. But my 2008 is nowhere near the neck of any 7ender I have played.
