And, you are the man to step up and do it! Thanks for your sacrifice in the name of reality. It was a dirty job but someone had to do it.

Could have been much worse - you could have been relaxing back in the green room when you made your Duke proclamation. Then you would have been the Dukeolax. Not a good thing.Years ago, on a Legendary ShackShakers tour, I once (drunkenly) proclaimed myself to be ‘the duke of rock.’ The band immediately renamed me ‘Duke’ and our fans quickly followed suit. Many friends call me Duke now, all these years later.

Having just finished reading her bio... I'm even more fortunate than I thought, to have had that experience! That's a really nice story there Mike.
It sure would have been funny, though. It is so awful, it's good. That would’ve been...not good, no

@Larry V She's from your side of the state. Have you ever seen Thornetta perform?

That’s a pretty cool use for your instrument cable. Belt.
7 minutes into a 42 minute video on YouTube, that only has 25,000 views, fourth advertisement... and it was FOR YOUTUBE!! I know YouTube exists, I'm currently using it... I don't need to know what the website is.
If it was an hour and a half video with over a million views, it'd be more understandable.
Advertisement is over... I'll be back in a few minutes to rant about the next advertisement.
That's what I listen to and that's what I know about and I'm too old to change.
Hmmmm... A 10 footer would actually work pretty well. Plus it has those shiny ends that work like the knots. That a pretty cool use for your instrument cable. Belt.
It's a big world. That's why there's all kinds of music you can play with a Thunderbird. I love jazz, soul, and old rock and roll. I can play that, and you can play other things all on 'Birds. Proof that the world doesn't actually need FSOs all that much.Nope, never heard of her.

I don't even care for 50's or early 60's rock.
-some country music if in the right circumstance.
-some gangsta rap(90's) if in the right circumstance.
*never jazz, there is no right circumstance.

"To thine own self be true" -Polonius in Hamlet.
I was actually thinking of double duty for the cable. Powering the bass AND being a belt. Or is that where you were going with it?Hmmmm... A 10 footer would actually work pretty well. Plus it has those shiny ends that work like the knots.
't like there's a concrete block tied to the headstock! SG's are consistently and universally known to be neck-heavy... but ya don't see or hear people b!tchin' a

The newly modded shiny ‘Bird will get a decent workout this week. 3 gigs, one rehearsal and probably a session tonight while the strings are still fresh![]()
