Jeez that is a blast from the past. How's the Bassman 10 working out? Is it 50 or 70 watts?
Love the Bassman 10! It's a 50w. Great sounding practice amp and has a beyond cool vibe for my little music room.

That's the only other bass i can see you playing aside from a Bird as well. You had a '73?. Nice!!!
EDIT, Besides other Gibson basses.

I really wish I'd kept it (I think we all have a story or two about the basses we should have kept!), it was a great player, and I beat the guts out of it countless times and it never let me down, the frets were shot and I'd worn the finish off of the fret board and the back of the neck. It went for pretty good money at BassNW, Steve Fossen sold it.

Meanwhile, domestic bliss on a sleepy Seattle Thursday includes cleaning the finger gank and oiling the fret board, plus new Ken Smith Rock Masters 45-105 for the '77, a little less clank than DR's but they more than make up it for with a lot of growl. '76s catch a lot of crap from some T Bird purists but I really like my two, played loud through a good amp with some careful EQ = drool

Why so on the '76s Mark?

'Does my bum look big next to these Birds?'

Why so on the '76s Mark?

Gibson was owned by Norlin at that point, not always the best QC (sound familiar?), the pickups and wiring are a completely different design than any of the '60s stuff and were wildly inconsistent. This one has a pretty magical set, they're both around 8K, the rear pickup on my green one is 14K. The woodwork is good and the 3 points works just fine, the bass has really sweet action.

That cat! I'm so crazy in love with her, she's working me for an early dinner ( it's 2:15 in the afternoon here!), and won't quit meowing until I cave in and feed her.

I think you should check out the La Bella SS.

Our girl likes breakfast at 0300, 0400, whenever...

Miaow miaow, climb up on the bed head, BOMB mum, Miaow miaow, climb up on the bed head, BOMB mum, Miaow miaow, climb up on the bed head, BOMB mum ... and if that doesn't get a response the nipping starts. Bless her evil little cotton socks.

It's just me as well, she lets the Mod sleep.
