So, I have had my own little shopping spree the last couple of days...

I have one of these

It was in for service and they are selling these for $7

so I had to get one.

But that is just the start.

L&M were selling off a used (but looked new) bass fly rig. So I picked that up.

And I decided to make a ghetto pedal board based on Ikea parts. Something like this:

You can only buy the Henje shelf as a two pack (for only $9) so I can experiment with one to see what works.

Now I need to choose a colour to rattle-can the shelf. I'm thinking neon green with black stripes, but I'm open to suggestions...

The tetanus vaccine is good for at least 10 years; probably longer. Just get a booster if you get a dirty wound.

It depends on the strings and everything, that's why you move the saddles to intonate.

I only used the G string saddle as there is no real way to check the bridge measurement from each bridge, the G string saddle is in approximately the same place so relationship wise the bridges are in the same position .

The cutaway isn't actually deeper, the neck is moved forward slightly. Compare bridge positions between the Classic Pro and Vintage Pro.

My bad I was thinking of the Gibson vs the Epiphone CP and VP.

So, if this thing has been sitting in a cold vehicle all day long, how long should I wait when I get home before I plug it in?

If you're just playing at bedroom volumes it should only need an hour to warm up before playing. Unless you're playing anything from Offspring, Green Day, or Rush - then you'll need at least 10 years before you plug in (that gives me plenty of time to get far far away.

Haha... no worries. I’m just looking for some guidance since I’m sure there are lots of folks here that have gear in their vehicles that they move into venues to play that might be just as cold or colder. It’s probably fine to just plug it in but I’m going to wait till after dinner. Probably another hour or so.

It’s home now and I’m just going to let it warm up.

In the meantime I noticed your amp has one different color knob and remembered this video I had seen before. Check it out, if you have any circuit board problems it looks like an easy fix...

It’s just me playing the intro to Tom Sawyer very badly.

In the meantime I noticed your amp has one different color knob and remembered this video I had seen before. Check it out, if you have any circuit board problems it looks like an easy fix...

Thanks for that, G! The knob is actually just missing the chrome cap. Must’ve fallen off and gotten lost.

And to @bking0217, I'll add that my thoughts are with you too, as you traverse this difficult time.
It's never an easy thing, dealing with matters relating to our Mortal Coil.
