Been a while since this thread popped up on my radar, but when it does I quickly click on the link, just for the first post in the thread:

Walmark's beautiful '66 Non Reverse II!

A '66 non-Reverse is the only T-bird I GAS for, but I always like to quickly sift through the pages I've missed to see what other T-Bird beauts people have posted.

Yeah my fiancee wasn't happy when she saw 3 nbds this last week. Now I'm thinking about building a pedalboard again. She's gonna cut me off soon I swear.

I was visiting Mike Lulls shop today because I was in the area and he is selling one of his personal T4's. It looks like the one in the link except it is a 4 string. It is in very good shape. I only found one little ding in the headstock and normal light wear. It is a pretty good deal for anyone who wants a Lull.

I relieved the pressure of my new Alpine White Classic (that arrived yesterday - and it's killer) by purchasing that free-standing porch swing the wife's been wanting for a while. It's all about timing.

Fortunately, I have to store my basses and guitars all over the condo because there is no convenient single point of storage. I usually keep one out on a stand for practicing on and it can be the same one for a long time or
I'll switch when I feel like using a different bass for practicing. On top of that, between the two bands I jam/play with, I'm usually hauling a bass in and out quite frequently. So when my TBird joined the "fold" and appeared
on the stand she did have a quizzical look and I said something to the effect of "Haven't used that one in a long time!" and all was well with the world. ;)

You know what may be one of the best things about these Epiphone Tbird Classics? Within an hour of opening the shipping box for my new Alpine White 'bird, I confirmed it was a keeper by checking all points of interest, ripped off the stickers, and drilled a new heel strap pin location hole so I could make it hang exactly like my Vintage Burst 'bird. Done. Happy. Not worried about resale because I paid the same $385 for each of them. I'd have a hard time convincing myself to do that with a $2000-$2500 Gibson, and I would ultimately be dissatisfied if I DIDN'T do it.

An alternative comment could be:

"Oh that one..? That's been in the rehearsal space for ages - I just took it home to do a setup and change strings..." :)

Mine keeps track and uses em in her photos, she says right now my limit on basses is 6. Which is fair cause I'm doing more practicing than gigging. I'll probably get away with a couple celebratory basses in the future though ;)

My wife and I have an agreement, I don't keep track of her shoes and purses and she doesn't keep track of my basses, but we both keep track of the money and ensure the bills and savings get first priority.

I will admit, now that I'm retired there's a lot less money for either her or I to buy gear, consequently I've only netted about 5 new basses since I retired two years ago (a diverse group - Gibson Tbird and SG, Fender Tele Pink Paisley, Warwick Vampyre CS and Squier Bronco). I do have my eye on a new Gibson Les Paul gold top hollowbody or another Alembic or a custom built Fenderbird or Gibson SG Supreme bass, budget allowing of course.

Those gold top hollowbodies have me drooling all over my keyboard sometimes, id have a set of flats on there so fast
