Toque is Quebecois slang for latex birth control...
I used to date a girl who was allergic to latex. I kid you not, after a long night of dinner, dancing and excessive drinking she told me that if she came in contact with latex she would go into anti-prophylactic shock. I never laughed so hard in my entire life.

I originally thought I'd leave it there-disconnected-just to throw people off,but except for other bassists,no one's gonna notice. Depending on the taxes situation,I'd like to do both pups(OK, have it done)but at the moment I'm suffering from the Italian affliction-muhfunzalo.:smug:
C'mon, put them both on! It'll look silly with that dinky lone skinny J pickup. Besides, the reason you don't use that back pickup is probably that it sounds like dog doo doo. Think resale value!

Sorry but Foster's is better than Coors IMO. And I'm not a Foster's fan. The guitar player I write with drinks Fosters a lot, but he likes lower end stuff when it comes to beer unless its the original Guiness. Not a fan of yellow fizzy beer but have downed several Mickey's and Rolling Rock lately. I LOVE bourbon barrel aged stouts. They are strong and smooth and you don't need many to get a buzz going. Lots of good microbrews around here so usually no need to drink the lower end stuff.
I'm not a beer fan at all but if it's ice cold and served in a frosted mug I'll drink it. Mexican beers and Fosters are about all I'll drink but any beer snob would turn their nose up at those. Like I said, not a beer fan here. Gin and Tonic, Margaritas and Martinis are more my style before dinner then wine with dinner and maybe a port or Irish coffee after dinner.

Well, yes on the dog poo and yes on the look silly. It's just gonna have to wait for finances to improve. I could just take the J off and leave a cavity there................

I found out that the reason SOME Mexican beers are good is that in the 17-1800's there were a lot of Germans in Mexico and they brought their brewing skills w/them and shared info w/ the locals.

Port RULES, almost like a hash buzz..

two things with port - get the expensive stuff; it is worth it. Drink less than "enough"; between sugar and alcohol it will mess you up.

Actually, now that I think about it, for all alcohol - buy the expensive stuff; it is worth it.
Yeah, as much as I like Port, the hangovers REALLY suck..
Which is probably why it's commonly consumed before noon in Portugal..

Except vodka. Buy the cheapest crap vodka you can find. Then filter it ten times through a Britta water filter and it'll taste as good or better than any top shelf vodka you can buy. I've done this many times for friends and hardcore vodka experts. Works every time.

The vodka challenge:
Have a friend bring their favorite expensive non flavored vodka to your house. You buy the cheapest non flavored vodka you can find (yes, even generic vodka in a plastic bottle will do). Pour one shot of each and have everyone take a sip noting which one they like best. Now filter the bottle of cheap crud ten times through a britta water filter. When done pour a shot of the filtered crud and a shot of the top shelf stuff and have everyone take a sip noting which one they like best. You'll be shocked! It's a great party conversation piece.

I used to buy $100 plus fifths of vodka, not any more. I never spend more than $5 or $10 on a bottle now.

The makers of the expensive vodkas will hunt you down for destroying their profits:smug:
