Looks great Dylan! I just have a bridge cover on mine, may have to add the tug bar and one for the pup.

This bass was built by Rob Van Den Broek, it's been sold and I'm pretty sure it's here in the States. The basses in the Gibson Bass Book are owned by a friend of mine that lives in Frankfurt, Germany - I will be seeing him in early May.

OMG - We need to have a Talk Bass Thunderbird Club Field Trip to that museum. Of course out of common courtesy we should notify them ahead of time that they'll need a janitor with mop bucket and lots of glass cleaning rags to clean up all the finger, nose and tongue prints from the glass and the drool and other discharge on the floor.
Yes, they do take personalised group tours - Just a shame it's location is off the beaten tracks...

Thanks! I think it really ties the whole thing together with all that chrome on it. Still need to get some pickguard material to go under the covers' feet, but I think it'll certainly be a bit of eye catcher for this run of shows, in fact I haven't seen a single Thunderbird on stage the entire year I've been down here in LA.

You already have Cobalt flats. Those are just about the brightest sounding flats I have ever played, and they are reasonably balanced.

I'm not all that surprised that you haven't seen a 'Bird except your own. I don't recall seeing a 'Bird out in the wild up here, either. Which means I haven't been to a Nasty Habits show yet. I don't know why so few people gig with them.

Imagine Veronica in the lead in full stage attire with the new white Eppi Bird mini skirt on and thigh high black leather boots over fishnets waiving a rainbow flag and yelling back to the group, "now keep up kids, don't dilly dally, spit spot". And being followed by the TBird clan all wearing kilts or skirts, some with butt bows, some with coconuts. And Christine bringing up the rear sporting a lovely new black wig and floor length tobacco burst frock. LOL a sight I'd love to see (and even be part of)!

Oddly, in the land where an FSO is a requirement for a lot of gigs, I have seen a few. One was played by a cross dresser in a kinda punk band we gigged with once. Don't remember their name, just that they were obnoxious in the worst way and not very good at all. Seen a few others with actual good bands...and Nashville's Certified Worst Bassist has a couple too.
