At one local club all beer costs the same whether its PBR or craft beer. No way am I over paying for PBR or Miller when I can get something that tastes better and has a higher alcohol content for the same price. Call me a beer snob if you want. I don't care.

You're a beer snob! That's ok, I am too.

Like you, I enjoy variety. IllI try almost anything beer. There are many I will return to and others that I will never drink again. The openess has lead me to experience so really fantastic beers. The Hawaiian beer with a hint of papaya was a really pleasant surprise. As was the English banana bread beer.

Possibly, I really don't remember where the name came from, it just happened, I don't ever remember any discussion about a name. I wasn't really a fan of the US punk scene, the only band I remember being aware of was the Ramones and I didn't like them at all, still don't. You know that's a good question I've never asked myself! We started in 77 and the Dolls song was 74 apparently so maybe?

My pleasure. Info on Slade in the states was sparse till the internet. My Friends at SIE Slade in England and Crazeeworld helped immensely

It has a little more clarity, it's about 27k compared to 32k for a 60's mudbucker. In the end it sounds liike a EB3, and by that I don't mean muddy, in fact if you get the bridge pickup involved they are quite articulate.

I don't understand that muddy reputation at all. I'm not a good bassist by any means, on a good day I'm poor to terrible but the eb3 never sounded muddy, I do use all both pickups can give but even playing with my fingers it sounded quite lively, anything but muddy. If I had the cash I'd get another without thinking
