I guess the worst they can say is no.
I’m going to ask the US border folks if there are any issues with bringing an instrument back if I need to return it.

I remember RS66’s exactly the way you described, BUT this set were not bright at all. Surprisingly muted for a brand no set of Rotos. The nickel Rotos I had were much better, though I doubt I’ll get those again either. Pretty good strings though, but for nickel, I’ve been well pleased with BassBurners

They do seem to last a bit longer than most rounds. LoRiders last a long time, but that’s SS

Ha! No he is not! It’s just I’ve only been playing ‘Birds for 6-7 months now and when I got my first one, I just wanted to try a few different types of strings. Discovered a few fun facts along the way. But that’s just what I think. Don’t mean anyone else should or would agree once the bass is in their hands :)
