I'd like the McKagan sig as a replacement for my P and J. Trading in two for one.
Dear T-birders, I just swapped the stock Gibson pups on my 'bird for the EMG passive set. Fantastic pickups, and highly recommended. There's just one problem: the EMGs come with their proprietary solid shaft pots already pre-soldered to the pups. Unfortunately, the stock top-hat knobs won't fit the EMG shafts. I've googled the hell out of the internet, and can't find any top hats to fit those wretched EMG shafts. Any underground custom knob builders out there? Thanks!

^Agreed. But i'd go for squier VM p/j. meaty highs & piercing lows. AFAIR, the Duff Sig wasn't all that pleasing for me anyway, & i love his sound.
