If I had two brain cells to rub together, I would save up money and buy one of his cabs instead of trying to make a polyester purse, at best, out of a sow's ear. But, I don't have two brain cells to rub together and love an ill-fated adventure into things I know absolutely nothing about.
And also for what it's worth, the shiny polyester shirt has been retired. I started smelling like a teen-ager on Saturday sometime in the third set. It was pretty bad. So, on to other things.

My one and only polyester shirt, I have not worn in ages. Me being an alien prevents me from doing so. You can imagine what would happen to this bass if I did.

As an unrelated data point, I had a 2006, Gibson T-bird that was 4mm thicker all the way around tthe body han the 2014 T-Bird I have now. The neck on the 2006 was also wider as well as thicker. I think things just vary more so with Gibson (& Epiphone).

Green boy has a 2x8 design. I just stacked two of em to see what it would sound like. It was pretty cool and seriously expensive!
Could be great for all I know! Nice weight, sensible dimensions and thoughtful porting. What it doesn’t say is what kind of speakers they are. I just got off the road and took a nap, so maybe I missed it, but didn’t see anything. There will most likely be a certain amount of comb filtering with that kind of layout, but it could be decent
That’s an awfully shallow cab for a sealed design. Would be really tough to get any meaningful low end, I’m fearing.

I have a regular 800. It’s an awesome amp. Never tried the 800+. On paper it looks to be a step up with the added eq and HPF, but a couple fellow endorsers I’ve talked to stuck with the regular 800, stating you had to give up some headroom to get the extra bells and whistles. That kinda scared me off. The 800 has had enough headroom for me most of the time, but only just. Im just not sure it’d be better for me. Plus I use a Grace Felix pre in front of my 800, which has extra parametric eq and a really nice HPF. Someday, I’d like to try one though!

They don't specify what speakers they are except that it is a 225W 8Ohm 15" and 2 150w 16 ohm 10" and specs subject to change. I think the 15" was upgraded to a 300W speaker at some point.
It has a look that will make the neighbours nervous.
The 1 X 15 and 2 X 10 combos is way flexible though. Love that setup. I wonder what speaker technology they're using.
Traynor is a bit funny. They make good stuff that many people like/love. But, they tend to hold back a bit with the information; perhaps a little paranoia about having copies made. If memory serves (and it might not here) their tone-stack was reverse engineered by a competitor.
I think their 300w all tube bass amp w/ 8 10" speaker cab was reverse engineered by a competitor.

Yeah, I read a number of their cool ideas were copied over here. Always liked Traynors. They had a 2 X 15 box back in the 80's that I used with a 76 Tbird through a GK 400B. The depth of that setup was intoxicating.
