OK so this is probably just me but I really don't get this. A Mexican Fender, (I have one and I like it), it isn't a great bass straight out of the box with their crap pickups, that horrible bent bit of tin excuse for a bridge or a nut that even @GBassNorth would reject even with his issue (
). So there is a thread out in the GP where the opinion is if you modify a MIM Bumper and improve it then it becomes worth less in resale value. OK I can probably understand it on an old original bass but what the fvck!!!???? It's probably me but it's like the village of the damned out there!
