I've never seen a slotted headstock on anything but Heritage Cherry. White with that headstock would be rIdOnKuLoUs!!!
I don't think it was called Heritage Cherry back then... just Cherry ;):roflmao:

This white 62 EB-3 is easily in my top 3 dream basses.

I'd forgotten about that... but my argument stands. There's a far greater chance of being hurt by a woman than a clown. I can't back it up, but I'm fairly certain that the aforementioned "sinister clowns"... were not clowns at all, but instead, a group of malicious dumbschitts organized on the web. Ask a real clown & I'll wager they won't have much good to say about them;)

There are equally as many men who hurt women too, not fair to lay the blame at anyone's doorstep, some people are just like that, evil, unpleasant little ......

Every one of them a tool out to cause unhappiness, real clowns don't do drive by scarings or jump out of dark alleys

There is a recognised condition of fear of clowns - coulrophobia

Are you a clown BTW?

Edit: I'm not taking the piss honest :)

That scary clown thing of going after people and making them "run for their lives" was some really dumb stuff. The fact that they could legitimately give someone a heart attack or cause them to hurt themselves by falling or running into something or just putting strain on ankle, knee or hip joints or muscles was really showing poor judgement and another level of jack-assery.

The fact that none of these "clowns" was shot shows you that they were at least smart enough to not pull that crap where CPL's are common.

It is funny how the use of "clown" used to slam someone is consistent throughout generations. "that clown cut me off..." I mean, one could be cut off in traffic by a real clown... but it seems rare. :)

Being a short-scale I can't imagine it being worse than my Epi EB-3 (long scale)... Even if it is, it's probably more than worth it *puts needle down on Cream album*

As far as any EB (ss or full scale) I've played - neck diving is part of the deal. But that one does look bitchin w/blocks and in white.

and a slotted headstock, EB-3L for not too bad a price...

Everyone stripped their finishes back then - it was a "return to nature" thing overlapped from the late 60's.
