Which is certainly a reasonable fear. The kids afraid of McDonalds, not clowns.
Well... I suppose you should be on the lookout for a migraine epidemic in like, 10-15 yearsNo?All I can say is that where I live is always behind the times, glam rock should be happening anytime soon. Fingers crossed I'll be fashionably dead by the time that hit's us.

The clown thing is still pretty fresh. All three of my daughters loved clowns when they were younger. My eldest decided she was a clownophobe after having met my ex-wifes Kiwi cousin (whom I believe to be legitimately afflicted after having taken her to see Barnum & Bailey. Not a particularly fun night). Once my eldest "converted"... she took her younger sibs with her. It seems a ridiculous and improbable number of their friends are right there with 'emYou know I've never heard of anyone who is afraid of clowns, a couple who thought they were a bit creepy but not enough to be frightened. The first I ever head of that fear was on a TV detective show here called "A touch of Frost" where a woman was scared of a clown who came to a child's birthday party
Pennywise has a lot to answer for!I love clowns! As long as it isn't Pennywise or John Wayne Gacy.
Not enough demand I guessSigh
Guitar making in the UK can be a painful business, you can buy binding at 1.5, 2.0 and 2.3mm and you can get a router cutter that will cut 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0mm. The standard tends to be the 2.3mm (0.06") so in order to get that I have to scrape and sand away 0.2mm all around the body to get it flush with the binding.
Looks like I have an order to StewMac coming up and a shed load of import dutyThey do a nice router cutter set that does a 2.2mm cut that allows you to scrape away 0.1mm of binding (easy) to get it flush. You'd think someone in the UK would have had that covered!
I was always bored rigid by clowns. They just seemed kinda dumb.I love clowns! As long as it isn't Pennywise or John Wayne Gacy.
I can't speak for other countries, but 20-30 years ago, it was little more than a word in a medical journal. Now... if you put yourself in any given social situation with 3 or more people and bring up the topic of clowns... somebody is going to try to convince you they're horrified by them. It's like migraine headaches. It used to be that folks could just have a good ol' fashion headache. For whatever reason... when the 1990s set in... headaches were all replaced with "migraines". That seems to have pretty much run its course, and I don't hear it so much any more. Any true migraine sufferer will tell you... if there were as many people suffering from actual migraines as there claimed to be throughout most of the '90s... entire nations would have shut down, and epidemics declared. Phobias, conditions, and diseases (especially those with no physical manifestations) are part of the fashion world.
@GBassNorth held a lab a while ago in which he compared a number of these things. I'm sure he'll be able to give you more intel than you're lookin' for on the matter when he signs in nextHas anyone tried changing the tone cap value to darken the tone when rolled off? I’ve done this on a P bass and it worked well, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t here.
What is the difference in sound between that and changing the neck volume pot to 250k? I’ve read that that can also darken it a bit.

Yeah Benadryl is now a sleep aid..Indeed, there are fashions in surgery, medicine, and drug development. If you listen carefully, you will no longer hear about the obesity epidemic (that is so 10 years ago...), instead you hear about pre-diabetes. In drugs, we are almost finished with the cholesterol fad and we are in the expansion phase with the immuno-oncology fashion.
