As we discuss frequently here... "good" is in the eyes/ears of the beholder. Perhaps this will help you out some. The T.V. Silver one you're looking at, is a "Limited Edition" version of the Epiphone Thunderbird IV bolt-on that I have, and I wouldn't hesitate to step on stage with mine. To my knowledge... the only differences between the model I have, and the one you're looking at, is the finish and the pickups. It's been about a year since we last spoke about these LE pups, but I remember them being liked quite a bit. IMHO... any good playable Thunderbird is a bargain at $200. The value only increases by virtue of being an LE model. If it comes with a hardcase... it becomes a mandatory purchaseLol, are they at least good? I have a standard tbird that I love. I do have a HSC for a TBird already.
Only 16 grand??? Sh!t, I'll take TWO!For NR fanatics out there!...
Gibson Thunderbird II Pelham Blue 1965

Agreed. First year NR with the highly sought after Pelham Blue and no apparent headstock break...Only 16 grand??? Sh!t, I'll take TWO!![]()

Questionable things like what? Authenticity? Condition? Guess it doesn't really matter since I won't be bidding..That bass has been presented here before, not far from where i work as well. But, there have been questionable things said about it.
I still dig it though, but not for that price.

Thought I'd posted that this morning, sorry
So how about this possible shape? Forget the text, I was just too idle to remove it
Yeah, but Only $100 more for S & HAgreed. First year NR with the highly sought after Pelham Blue and no apparent headstock break...
Still a crazy price..

unreal. I stand corrected too, it does have a crack up by the headstock. Crazy prices..Yeah, but Only $100 more for S & H![]()
Hmmm....those look sagging to you?..The sagging boob look? No. I like the asymmetrical one.
If you already have a bolt-on 'Bird, then you know pretty much what you are getting. I don't know anything about the pickups, but those are always easy to replace.Lol, are they at least good? I have a standard tbird that I love. I do have a HSC for a TBird already.
