As we discuss frequently here... "good" is in the eyes/ears of the beholder. Perhaps this will help you out some. The T.V. Silver one you're looking at, is a "Limited Edition" version of the Epiphone Thunderbird IV bolt-on that I have, and I wouldn't hesitate to step on stage with mine. To my knowledge... the only differences between the model I have, and the one you're looking at, is the finish and the pickups. It's been about a year since we last spoke about these LE pups, but I remember them being liked quite a bit. IMHO... any good playable Thunderbird is a bargain at $200. The value only increases by virtue of being an LE model. If it comes with a hardcase... it becomes a mandatory purchase
hillerup has a heavy work schedule, so we we don't get to see him around as much as we'd like, but if you were to send him a PM, I bet he'd get back to you pretty hastily. He knows the pups we're talking about here. In fact... I'd be surprised if I learned that he didn't actually have the same bass you're considering

That bass has been presented here before, not far from where i work as well. But, there have been questionable things said about it.
I still dig it though, but not for that price.
Questionable things like what? Authenticity? Condition? Guess it doesn't really matter since I won't be bidding..
Mainly the finish. I originally posted it up here. And the finish was the most in question thing about it, iirc.

If you already have a bolt-on 'Bird, then you know pretty much what you are getting. I don't know anything about the pickups, but those are always easy to replace.

Can I suggest you pick your 4 favourite designs and present them together?
Maybe you can decide easier that way. You could also present them for a poll (offical in the build thread or unofficial here) if you like.
