I've done it b4. They put me and the drummer on a barely large enough riser in a corner behind the horns. The band is run by the horn men so, of course, they have room. This gig happens the first and third Wednesday each month. Their regular bassman needed time off and asked me to do it. Nuttin' else happ'nin' on a Wednesday, so why not? Helps me keep my reading chops in shape, too.Lemme get this straight - they had room for a big band but not enough for a Thunderbird? I call shenanigans!
I fancy doing the text in a very dark shell just enough to give in brand identity on closer inspection but not enough to jump out and catch your eye. I'm getting out voted thoughNumber 1 is my favorite, as long as the text remains a dark subdued color and follows the curve of the headstock like your example shows.
Number two is a close second.
All the others are very distant third place contestants.

Realizing you asked our opinion, my question is whose bass is it?I fancy doing the text in a very dark shell just enough to give in brand identity on closer inspection but not enough to jump out and catch your eye. I'm getting out voted though![]()
Only one of them is mine, the other has to appeal to some unfortunate soulRealizing you asked our opinion, my question is whose bass is it?![]()
MSRP please..Only one of them is mine, the other has to appeal to some unfortunate soul![]()
can't help it (and not to offend anyone) but the no text for some reason reminds me of a cheap pack of Chinese cigarettes..I fancy doing the text in a very dark shell just enough to give in brand identity on closer inspection but not enough to jump out and catch your eye. Don't know yet I need to work out how long it takes to make actual hands on bass but not as expensive as you may think, I am retired and this is just a hobby with a small extra incomeMSRP please..
So you would make a 7enderbird upon request?Don't know yet I need to work out how long it takes to make actual hands on bass but not as expensive as you may think, I am retired and this is just a hobby with a small extra income

No problem at all, did you see mine?So you would make a 7enderbird upon request?
Ha! I knew that of all people it would be you lol. I jut said "it reminds me off"..vote early and vote often!
Psssst. There is text on your example...
I did and I like it a lot.No problem at all, did you see mine?
I would suspect that one would be easier since you don't have to make a neck? Do you spray and do the final finish as well?No problem at all, did you see mine?
Still got the jigs for itI did and I like it a lot.
That one had an Allparts licenced neck, I'm on the lookout for a comfortable bound and blocked Jazz neck for it, I can't get on with the P neck at all. Yes I spray them with nitro, it's what I know really. The polishing was done with wet/dry down to 3000 grit then Farcells G10 and G12 on foam pads to get the glossI would suspect that one would be easier since you don't have to make a neck? Nice. If I recall, Entwistle used a P neck on his which makes me wonder, why would someone trade in the tapered beauty of a Bird neck for a P neck...hmmm...Still got the jigs for it

They do, they are interchangable, there is a slight difference in the taper but it's so negligible I wouldn't worry about it.Nice. If I recall, Entwistle used a P neck on his which makes me wonder, why would someone trade in the tapered beauty of a Bird neck for a P neck...hmmm...
Does the J neck have the same heel dimensions of the P?
I love the Tbird neck
