Guess I haven't kept up on the pricing recently. Seems like any head that weighs more than 10 lbs is difficult to sell these days. Not to get into the lightweight/heavy gear discussion again but if I wanted an old Acoustic setup, the weight would not even be a consideration. It would be expected.

Funny thing about that. The "head" is just a preamp. The power section and all the weight are down in the bottom of the cabinet. It makes the cabinet's center of gravity low, even though it's heavy a sin. It's very easy to move on its wheels, and surprisingly easy to move up and down stairs if you have time and the right technique. The geometry is ergonomic, at least for me. The "head" probably doesn't weigh much more than 10 lbs. on its own.

It takes a certain kind of geek to know these things.

I love the 360. What a phenomenal sound.. Just so big and heavy..
Not really my cup of tea but this guy had amazing tone..Mudbucker into two 360s...

It's aluminum. Aluminum is a decent conductor. I don't see why it wouldn't work well as shielding.

I love 'em. I must. There's an original down in the basement that gets cranked up every so often, and a Grexa Acoustic USA 360m that lives in an upstairs closet and is my gigging amp any time there's room for it on the stage.

I know a guy that used it for cavity shielding on his guitars and basses. Said it worked great.

Never owned one but rehearsal room no.2 at Musicians Exchange (long gone) in Ft. Lauderdale had one that I used to play my Rick through and man oh man it sounded orgasmic. I can only imagine what a TBird would sound like through one of those!..Bliss...
