I think it was 1991 when a buddy of mine was listening to WIDR, the "college" station from Western Michigan University. The DJ announced that he was going to play something new that he could only describe as "Motorhead meets Jan & Dean". I don't recall the specific track they played, but it was from this album, which has remained a favorite of mine ever since (Danny McCormack switched back & forth between a T-bird and a P-bass).

I have liked this band since the first time I heard them. They are also intertwined with other bands from their region that I am a fan of (Dogs D'Amour, London Quireboys).

Mine all have the E string side higher. They were all set up by different people as well so I assume it's the nature of the beast, so to speak.

Thanks. Just played the first practice with the bass and the string balance seemed fine but man the pickups were microphonic. I could hear every noise my strap was making on the pins even and would get feedback when facing my amp. Turning down the neck pickup helped some. I'm guessing the pickups might need to be re potted. Either that or I might consider throwing in a whole new set of black Thunderbuckers and rings. Any more advice is welcome.
