Pretty keen actually, but left it to the last minute - as usual - so I can only get to the matinee show @ 4pm. Saved some coin that way, so that suits me fine.

21 musicians including 4 main singers & 2 drummers.

Goes song by song through the album including Revolution 9.

Hah! I just saw this Carlo and took some pic's of my '64 pg. I made the tracing paper sheath for it in '78 and it's been stored since then. ( I replaced it with my ebony/abalone pg) A time capsule. I keep it under a box filled with hand tools. (to assure it stays flat)

I’m a lot happier with the look for sure. I’m just not a rackmount lover, especially on the 810AV. Honestly, I only played on the CL for about 5 minutes while doing the deal. As soon as I got home I had to turn around and head out to a gig my friend was playing at, and I just got home. Wife and kiddo are asleep, so no SVT for me tonight. The crazy part is I have a pretty big gig tomorrow. Lol. And I haven’t even begun to try to get a tone out of the CL. If what everyone says is true, it won’t take long. I could tell immediately that the CL is warmer and rounder than the 4 PRO. I t traded my USA made 4 PRO and $300 for this CL, which is 6 months old. The guy had never taken it out of the house. It’s absolutley mint. Still has the brand new smell. I’m a little nervous about putting it onstage with virtually no fiddling with it. Anyone here have a Thunderbird that you play through a CL? Any suggestions on EQ and gain structure? I play classic metal, 80’s glam rock, etc. I want a fat punchy tone with a decent growl and just a hint of top end sparkle.

As expected, love 'em. We do mostly "classic rock", 60s and 70s so the angry piano sound isn't appropriate but I got some anyway on a couple of things. I'm not a paid endorser(hint,hint)but I really like these things and I've been a D'Addario user for quite awhile. For most of what I do, the Chromes are fine but the Cobalts made this bass sound much better.:):hyper:

Liver birds are on top of the two domes on the left hand building.
The birds are actually cormorants with Laver (the seaweed eaten in Wales and japan in sushi) in their beaks, the first name of the town was Lerpwl a Welsh name form the days when Wales was most of the U.K. I guess you can see how Liverpool got its current name

Well, the White Album show was Fvcking Awesome.
Surprised that those songs came up so great live. Chris Cheney (The Living End) owns “While my guitar gently weeps”.

Absolutely owns it.

To my surprise, they did another 5 songs as an encore after the album.
The 4 singers came out by themselves, 3 with Acoustic guitars, and sat on stools for The 2 of Us, and Across the Universe, then the rest of the musicians came back on for The Ballad of John & Yoko, and All Things Must Pass (for a fallen colleague, and George presented this song for the White Album) followed by a Grande Finale in Revolution (the single version).

they rocked.
