I love my JC. The range of tones is great. It can be clean but it can get growly too by adjusting the impedance control. I would concur that they are a bargain.

The neck is chunkier than a thunderbird neck. as stated 1 5/6 at the nut and fairly thick (@theFixer would probably like the neck).


My suggestion is to find one to try for yourself. Some find it neck heavy, but it is fine; just look at how JC plays his to see how to wear it. Lower on the hip is better - kind of like the way you put a Thunderbird. Up high will be problematic and I don't play mine sitting down - the body is too big.

I wonder how the JC pickup and impedance selection would work in a solid body? @Christine @JIO
say in an EB0 or LP Jr style thing with a single pup?

On the Cole Clark (whiling away the wait at the GP, throat infection - not impressed) it seems it is a V joint. I think Christine may have said that at one point.

Not familiar with the JC pu - but just because it's in a hollow-body bass doesn't mean it wouldn't sound good in a solid body bass. The only pu that responds more intimately with a hollow body (compared to solid body) is a piezo.

Ha! Nah,no meat. Just lots of blood that started to coagulate and dried on super thick. I have sinced cleaned it up but am curious how much ened up in the neck pick up cavity....

Wow, that is a nice 360/361. According to the maps app, it would take me about seventeen hours to get there. I’d love to buy it, but how to get it home? I’d have to rent a truck...still a very cool find. Someone here needs to snag it..
