I have long wanted to see her show live. Preferably in a smaller venue. Doesn’t matter tgat what German I know, I got from war movies, Hogan’s Heroes, and technical pubs. Love her voice.

FWIW, I played a big band(5 saxes, 4 tpts, 4 'bones,piano, drums and me)gig last night on my TBird. Contrary to rumors, it can be used for all genres of music. It sounded great and got positive comments. To refresh everyone's memory-and b/c it's Thunderbird Thursday, here 'tis:

The contents of the jar came in a bag, already dried, from the supermarket. That's cheating. Sorry. I haven't had much luck drying them yet. We haven't had a big enough crop to pickle them. Maybe that's the goal for next summer. Plant a whole lot of jalapeno plants and have enough to pickle with carrots and onions. All the Mexican ancestors nobody my family knows about seem to have asserted themselves in food. I love just about any kind of Mexican or Caribbean spicy stuff.
Jalapeño do dry really well... you have a jar of them and they're called chipotles.
