That’s what happens when a bass is gigged 5-7 nights a week for 15 years straight. Chrome becomes tarnished.Get the rag out of the stand and use it t clean up those tuning keys!
The control knobs are deeply worn.

@Band Mom see this ?Epiphone Thunderbird ProIV Bass alert! $50!?!?!!
Epiphone Neck Thru Thunderbird Bass IV Pro 2016 Gibson U.S.A. Pick-ups | eBay
It’s over $100 now. Still a good deal.
I bought my Goth Tbird for $50 off CL. It came with Loxx straplocks, roadrunner gig bag and a couch strap. Those theee accessories alone are well over $50. The bass had a broken string but I restrung it with labella black tape-wounds anyway. After a setup, I’ve been rocking it’s since.
If anyone here has gotten a better deal on their bird, I want to hear about it!
Oh, I also got a Boss NS2 for $20 in the same deal.
Work day isn’t overHey! What’s with all the Canadian members posting?
Shouldn’t you guys be off getting baked?

There are so many reasons to hate Billy Sheehan, but the guy can groove. And he can solo. When he solos (in the right group) he can do it simply and extraordinarily well.
Long solos (guitar, drums, bass, or anything else for that matter) bore me to tears. When I see the rest of the band walk off stage, I want to leave for a beer.
That's what the rest of the band is doing. Why be different? When I see the rest of the band walk off stage, I want to leave for a beer.
never a deterrent in CA..Work day isn’t over
I wonder how many people took today off.
Ironically, in BC they only managed to open one legal weed store. And it’s a 4 hour drive from Vancouver...Work day isn’t over
I wonder how many people took today off.
And how many back?Ironically, in BC they only managed to open one legal weed store. And it’s a 4 hour drive from Vancouver...

You can get it online in BC.Ironically, in BC they only managed to open one legal weed store. And it’s a 4 hour drive from Vancouver...
That would depend on the weather. You need to take the "Highway Thru Hell" and it's October now so anything could happen:And how many back?
Yeah from a government store! You can get it online in BC.
Well my 67 EBO has had the same roundwounds on it since the 80's. I can't think of any reason to change them unless I were to break a string.Normally I don't mind trying new strings from time to time, but on my '64 I just can't bear thinking of trying something else. Every other bass I've had has had various strings over the years. But I've had TI Super Alloy's on the '64 for years. Mostly the same set! Because I don't take it out all that much. But when I do, it just magic. I mean Magic, Magic. The whole time I'm playing I'm thinking, "Holy Cow this thing sounds amazing! Why play something else?" In the '80s I used Rotos on it and was happy, but my tonal tastes have changed or matured and there is literally nothing I would change. My '76 has TI flats and sounds almost as good, but the '64 does have a slight edge. (Not to mention it's light as a feather.) Anyone else have one of those bases and you would never think of changing anything about it?
At least you know they’re licensed to sell.Yeah from a government store!
