Been hearing this for a while... don't worry, I have no plans to leave the Bay Area - nothing would compare to it. When I moved to the Bay Area in 1990 from the mid-west, there were all these "California Native" bumper stickers. Don't see them anymore. Over population is the cause, not Californians or anyone in particular for that matter.

I lived in San Jose for a couple of years (at the turn of the century). I couldn't take it; too many engineers. And I had no interest in learning telephony protocols just to be able to have a conversation. Traffic was terrible as were house prices and rent. People thought that they were financial geniuses because they had employee stock options in a company that had a webpage garnering views. But I really liked the Faultline Brewery and the Friday night skate in SF.

I saw one on either a saw, or lumber, but apparently sawdust, not even from exotic wood, can cause cancer according to California.
I’m surprised California is even aloud to have anything at all!

Just keep in mind that CA is the fourth largest economy in... (wait for it) the world.

The trouble with Prop 65 is that anything that might cause cancer or birth defects (proven probably, suspected, or otherwise) needs a warning. In other words, everything needs a warning.

Honestly, i'm harmless, low maintenance and a cheap date. And i've lived in Cali a bunch. And the PNW. What could possibly go wrong?

Nah. I just wish they'd quit all moving here so fast.

The exidous is due in large part to major employers like State Farm, Chevron, Allstate, Liberty Mutual and many others shutting down huge operations here and moving to Texas and Arizona. The sweetheart tax deals and other incentives they’re getting make it a no brainer for them to leave. And a lot of Californians are moving there with them to stay employed. They don’t have a lot of choices these days.

You should go back for a visit. LA is awful. San Jose is worse. But over the next few years or so, most of them will move to Austin...

Tha State of California knows lots of things. Californians themselves don't seem to care what the state knows. My son is in LA so I am happy that it continues to exist. He has a Thunderbird. There is another decent reason.
