Thunderbird Club

That is more tequila than I can handle under any body chemistry state. I am a wimp that way. Good Scotch is another matter.
I havent had a good scotch in quite a while. Just hasn’t sounded good to me for some wierd reason. You would think that would never happen with the percentages of Scot and Welsh in me, and a wee bit of Irish and German for good measure. Bourbon is where I have settled for the last couple years.

Until a coupla years ago, I had no use for Scotch-I had only tasted 'blended'. Then I tried 'Single Malt', expecting to dislike it too. Oh, My!Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie(and the other Glens), Balvenie. Mmmmmm.:)
People assume they don't like scotch when they have tried Johnnie Walker. Johnnie Walker is a blend of several fine single malts with some sort of continuously distilled turpentine. It is inexpensive and there is a reason for that.

Related good advice:

If the gin you are about to consume has a warning on the label about adding mix because of the risk of blindness, don't tempt fate* - get better gin.

I was perusing the Sweetwater website this morning and see that Boom Bass Cabinets has a new 210 115 rated at a massive 2200 watts. Very compact but goes down to 30Hz. To say the least, it stretches credibility, but I am curious. Has anyone here tried one? I am not in the market for a cab; just curiosity gets the better of me...
Does it come with a handtruck-or a roadie?

My 'bitter half' used to drink "Black and White".:vomit:

You shoulda been here a year and a half ago, 10-15 pages a day was not uncommon.
Yeah, the trifecta was Fixer/Christine/Kat. Those three could keep any thread full of fun new posts. Sadly, I just don't see any of them on here anymore. But carry on we must!
So.... everybody, Post a picture of your favorite bird rockin bassist (pro or amateur) in action!

Their Blue Label is pretty darn good.
I bought a bottle of their platinum label thinking it would be really good (I know nothing about scotch, but wanted to see what all the club hubbub is here). I wasn't impressed. I want a smooth creamy rich drink (neat or on the rocks) that doesn't excel in alcohol burn all the way down to my gut.

I can get that with Rum, Tequila, Vodka or Gin. I just haven't found a whisky, bourbon or scotch I like yet. I'm sure there's one out there, but I haven't found it.
