FWIW, my neck-side button was already on the heel of the neck (Epi Classic,) and I moved the bridge-side button up the plank about 3-4 inches. This helped a little in the natural angle or attitude of the T-bird, but more importantly for me, it also pulls the top of the bass more toward my body, since it had a tendency to tilt top-forward using the factory button placement. (Disclaimer: this required drilling a new hole in a new bass.)
Another note: I use Schaller strap locks and put my neck-side strap attachment "backwards" from what it would be on a 7ender, which keeps the strap flatter against my chest.
