It's not just microphones, it's interfaces...
I suppose...not as extreme as I woulda thought though

Ya might not want to flash that pic on St Pattys day. Them is fightin colors to many out there.Thunderbird Thursday.
I think the orange and green compliment each other nicely.

Just played a 2018 thunderbird that came stock with babicz bridge.... the neck on this one was not as wide from side to side and thinner from front to back... felt more like my Blackbird than some of the thunderbirds I’ve tried in stores. Really nice. I was suprised. Volume, projection...notes just flew off the fretboard
If only it was gold or had inlays.... amazing though.
I want to pop the babicz on the Blackbird for the obvious reasons and the last set of strings I put on it had the winding at the bottom slip past the saddle....which seemed to deaden tone yes I could move the saddle but it would mess with my intonation....
Will the babicz bridge get In The way of the optic grab? Not like Ive ever used it.
Recent pics of stuff..

Do it! Both!I’m actually considering mixing this record I’m currently producing. I’ve only ever mixed one other commercially released record in my life and can’t help but feel there’s gotta be someone more qualified
Resisting the urge to purchase the SoundToys plug in bundle
what's the genre? were you involved in writing and/or arranging as well?I’m actually considering mixing this record I’m currently producing. I’ve only ever mixed one other commercially released record in my life and can’t help but feel there’s gotta be someone more qualified

yes, technically a guitar head but not as bright as most....I once borrowed a 200 for an event and will never forget the sound of that rig......simply amazing..Thanks! Yeah even though the Hiwatt is a guitar head, that Franken P-Bass thought it (matched set of Mullard EL34 from the 60's) and the Orange 2x12 cab makes me think I should get a home equity loan, get 400w Hiwatt Head and 4x12 cab and call it done.....
Sub-mix in front of the interface? Yeah, it reduces your post options, but the kick/snare continuum is so key to a good recording.I have a 2 channel interface. 2 x LDC in mid/side config will have to do for drums.
Thank goodness there's such a great mentor for the role and so close by!Shaving, lots of shaving for you! Then those clothes, so much work to tidy you up!
You might even be able to borrow some clothes.Thank goodness there's such a great mentor for the role and so close by!
I have a D112 that I got used and cheap for kick drum duty. That's about all I ever use it for. It has been superseded by a set of Mik-Tek drum mics that seem to work pretty well. The Basement of Bad Ideas is supremely lo-fi anyway. There's joy in being strictly a weekend warrior and dive bar hack. The D112 is reputedly nowhere near as good as the D12e. A pair of Rødes will do me. The NTRs are tempting but the NT2As are probably more sensible (and robust).
You make it sounds so.... exotic. There were no pillows involved. There were however stimulants consumed, namely half a litre or so of camellia sinensis infusion.
I love the gray P-Bird.My pair and some friends:
